Each year the State imposes a Filing Deadline for property tax appeals. It is imperative that you review your Proposed Tax Notice (TRIM Notice) to know when each year’s filing deadline will be.
Important Yearly Dates and Deadlines:
Exemption/Portability Filing Deadline: March 1st
Proposed Tax Notice (TRIM Notice) Issued: Mailed on August 24th every year
Property Tax Appeal Filing Deadline: 25 calendar days from date on TRIM Notice
Property Tax Bills Issued: November 1st
Property Tax Payment Due Date: Payable on November 1 each year through March 31st of the following year
